The PID Controller DL 2622 is a standard industrial controller that can be used as  P, PI, PD or PID controller in the closed loop automatic control systems.

Input summing node for two different reference variables UR and UC and for one controlled variable UA.
Signal voltage range: -10V .... +10V

Time of the integral action TI = 1ms ... 100s
Time of the derivative action TD = 0.2ms ... 20s
Reset input of the integral controller
Output summing node to add or subtract noise variables

Description

1. Measurement terminal for the error signal Equazione2.gif (281 byte)  
2. Adjustment screw for the output offset
3. Three led indicator of the sense of deviation: 
upper red led on when  UC  >  UA
lower red led on when  UC  <  UA
4. Coarse and fine adjustment of the proportional gain Kp
5. Coarse and fine adjustment of the time of the integral action TI
6. Coarse and fine adjustment of the time of the derivative action TD
7. Indicator of over-range: led "over" on when the output voltage is higher than 10 V or lower than -10 V
8. Input Ioff for resetting the I controller

Operation

A. Equation of the controller:

where  Equazione2.gif (281 byte)  is the error signal.

B. The I controller can be included through the  Ioff switch (up) or excluded (down).
The Ioff input can be used to reset the I controller:
Ioff =  4.5 .... 15 V: reset;
Ioff = 0 or disconnected: active integrator.
C. The D controller can be included through the  Doff switch (up) or excluded (down).
